Villa Dione is a deluxe villa located near Halikounas beach on the popular island of Corfu. It is surrounded by olive trees and is located at an idyllic position, in the South of Corfu island. This 2 bedroom property is designed to meet all your expectations for a luxurius and private vacation.

On the ground floor there is a bright, modern equipped kitchen with open plan living and dining area and access to the shaded and furnished veranda and pool area. In addition there is a WC on this floor.

A staircase leads to the first floor of the beautiful Villa Dione. Apart from an attractive bedroom with two single beds which can be converted into a double bed, and en-suite bathroom, this level convinces with the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and access to a furnished balcony, which allows an unobstructed view over the surrounding olive groves.

The spacious basement offers a playroom with an air hockey table and a sofa bed that could be used for two more guests. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and ironing board on this floor.

LOCATION

The surrounding area of the villas is characterized by olive groves, vineyards and citrus orchards and only a few steps away from the isolated Kanouli beach, which due to the cliffs can only be reached by a steep staircase. Another very close beach, only 650 metres away is Sidi beach and 1200 metres away is Prasoudi beach.

The nearest tavern is 1200 metres away.

Another important part of the area is the Halikounas beach and the Korissions lake running parallel to it. The Korission Lake is a nature reserve and offers shelter to many rare bird species, flamingos and cormorants as well as various species of sand orchids. There is also a beautiful old cedar forest along the dunes.

The beach of Halikounas, only 3 kilometres away, is an endless sandy beach, famous among kite surfers. On the way to Halikounas you will also meet Gardiki Castle, a 13th century Byzantine castle whose walls still show visible elements of its ancient structure.
